GREEK SING

Greek Sing is an annual philanthropic event in which sororities and fraternities create 13–15 minute renditions of existing or original musicals and compete to take home first place! Theta often pairs with a fraternity to put on an amazing show. There is a place in the show for everyone– whether that be playing music in the pit, organizing fundraisers, singing and dancing in numbers, designing sets and costumes, and/or participating in bonding events with our partner fraternity.

Greek Sing also raises considerable funds for meaningful local charities. Currently, Greek Sing supports the Homeless Children’s Education Fund (HCEF). HCEF’s mission is to support the educational needs of children experiencing homelessness in Allegheny County.

One of the past local charities Greek Sing supported is 412 Food Rescue. Greek Sing promised to raise $100,000 for 412 Food Rescue, an organization that prevents food from entering the waste stream. Leading up to Greek Sing, members will participate in fundraisers for the chosen charity, volunteer at events, and spread awareness about the cause.
