SOCIAL EVENTS
Twice a year, Theta hosts a Crush Party in which sisters can invite a date for a semi-formal night of conversation, friends, and food. We rent out a location in Pittsburgh and have the entire restaurant or venue to enjoy for the night. Last Fall, Crush Party was held at the Mario's - a restaurant in Pittsburgh's Shadyside - and last spring we had Crush Party at Roland's in the Strip District.
Theta's Spring Formal marks the end of a year of hard work and great memories. Formal is especially exciting for the seniors who are just weeks away from graduating! Thetas invite a date of their choice for a night of delicious food, including a three course meal and dessert, dancing, and bonding. This past year, Formal was held at the Le Mont, on Pittsburgh's Mount Washington. The venue had a gorgeous view overlooking downtown Pittsburgh and it was truly a spectacular formal!
Once a month, Theta plans a social event with a sorority or fraternity. Social events are an opportunity for Thetas to bond with other Greek organizations on campus. This past fall we had dinner with the brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon, made desserts and did karaoke with the brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi and carved pumpkins with the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega.
