SCHOLARSHIP
We believe that academics should be a priority for every member of the house. We provide an in house tutoring system, study hours, academic mentors, and a study room. We require all our members to have a minimum 3.0 high school GPA and a 2.7 college GPA. Our GPA is consistently above the University average. Theta’s average GPA has also been above the all-women’s GPA since all-women’s statistics were recorded in 2001.
To honor the hard work Thetas do, the Scholarship Committee hosts a Scholarship banquet every semester where sisters are recognized for high achievement in their academic endeavors. Sisters invite a professor or faculty member who has facilitated a healthy learning environment and helped them on the road to success. Sisters who achieve a 4.0 semester GPA receive a scholarship pearl to attach to their Theta pin.
